Michael Lawson, Co-Founder, Clinic Manager & rTMS Practitioner

Mike is passionate about creating an exceptional client experience where every individual feels welcomed, respected and genuinely cared for. As the co-founder and Clinic Manager of Lawson Collab, he believes that outstanding mental health care extends beyond the therapy room.

From a client’s very first interaction with the clinic to their final appointment, Mike is committed to ensuring every aspect of the experience reflects compassion, professionalism and thoughtful attention to detail. His leadership is guided by a simple philosophy: when people feel supported and valued, they are better positioned to focus on their mental health and well-being.

After spending more than a decade in the banking industry, Mike’s own experience as a therapy client gave him a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support. That perspective became the foundation for Lawson Collab – a private mental health clinic intentionally designed to feel welcoming and distinctly different from a traditional healthcare setting. Today, Mike continues to lead the clinic with a strong focus on service excellence, innovation and creating an environment where both clients and clinicians can thrive.

In addition to overseeing the operations of Lawson Collab, Mike completed specialized training in the Netherlands to support the delivery of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), an evidence-based, non-invasive treatment option for individuals whose symptoms have not responded to traditional therapies or medication.

He holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University and a Master of Management of Innovation from University of Toronto, combining a background in healthcare and business strategy to help shape the vision and continued growth of Lawson Collab.
