All of our psychologists are registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) which is a requirement for insurance reimbursement.

We recommend contacting your health insurance provider to see if psychological services is covered under your plan.

At the moment, we do not directly bill health insurance companies. We are working to make this a feature of Lawson Collab in the coming months.

There is no cost. You are required to bring a valid Alberta Personal Health Card in order to see our staff psychiatrist.

Clients who do not present a valid Alberta Health Card will have their appointment cancelled.

How we work here at Lawson Collab is you would need to become a client first, then book at least one (1) full 50-minute session with our psychologist for background and history taking. From there, if our psychologist determines that a referral over to our staff psychiatrist is beneficial or necessary, we will do so at that time.

Our staff psychiatrist aims to see clients within 6 weeks of receiving a faxed referral letter from your family doctor.
